Christmas 2012

playing tic tac toe with Dad

One of the major positives of Justin being a student right now is that he gets a big Christmas break and we get to just hang out together for some time around Christmas. We're loving every minute of having him home.

We had dinner at a cute little diner here named "Uncle Jim's"

we worked on a big puzzle

wore old Christmas gifts to church (Ariane made me this necklace a few years ago- love it!)

watched lots of Christmas movies

made sugar cookies for Santa

Davy's frosting job:

we got ready for our 2nd annual formal Christmas Eve dinner

I took this picture about 2 mintues before Davy spilt his sparkling cider all over the table

Santa came!

we went to Grandma and Grandpa Bunn's house where David helped get the chicken feed ready

and Audrey made some beautiful yummy mini pink cupcakes

It was a great Christmas!

let's start at the beginning

watching the snow in pajamas

Wow I'm behind! Our lives are just busy right now, there's no other excuse. Two kids, one in school, the apartments, Justin starting grad school- we're just busy. Occasionally I've been tempted to forgo blogging altogether but this is sort of like our family journal, and I know that Audrey's birth family likes to keep tabs on her and so.... here we go. :)

Davy loves his "choo choo"s

Mr. Giraffe joins us for lunch

we put up our Christmas tree

And Davy helped hang up lots of ornaments in a nice little row right at the bottom

when did someone let my little baby turn into this big boy?

we visited Temple Square

and the Joseph Smith Memorial Building

and City Creek

gingerbread houses have been made

Audrey caught a stomach flu

and kindly shared it with David.....and then me......yuck

Justin threw a Christmas party for Thi Alpha Theta at ISU that can only be discribed as "swanky"

Audrey requested a ballerina doll from Santa and Davy refused to sit on his lap

I've got 5 vacant apartments which has kept me busy cleaning at night

And we've had snow which has kept Justin (and his helpers) busy shoveling the sidewalks
