this boy:
-pulled a vent out of the wall in the chapel during church last Sunday, and threw cheerios down the back of the pew in front of us.
-but then folded his little chubby arms so sweetly during the sacrament prayer.
this boy:
-daily hits his sister with whatever happens to be in his hands.
-then gets so sad when he's in trouble, and happily gives his sister a hug to say he's sorry.
this boy:
-throws whatever he can get his hands on when he's mad and pouts on the floor.
-then surprises me by saying "bee!" (please) in his happy tiny voice while I'm doing dishes in the kitchen when he wants some chocolate milk.
this boy:
-wants to do things by himself, gets bothered when I try to help, and runs away when I call him.
-but lays his head on my shoulder when he's tired and rubs my back. or crawls into my lap with his blanky and pulls my hand around his waist.
this boy:
-keeps me guessing, keeps me humble, keeps me running and on my toes. and even when we're butting heads (sometimes literally) this boy makes me happy.
except for this morning.
when he broke a lamp.
