Mystery Birthday!

Audrey decided to have a Nancy Drew mystery party for her birthday this year. We made tiny invitations that said

"It's no mystery that we want Audrey to have a Happy Birthday but she needs your help! Are you on the case?"

We attached individual magnifying glasses so the girls could read the tiny font.

We made "Detective Kits" for party favors that included another magnifying glass, a pen, some stickers and candy and a notebook to write down clues:

Audrey woke up way too early this morning excited to open presents

Her favorite was a Queen Elsa dress from Frozen dress that I made:

Later in the day we got prepared for the party

When all Audrey's friends arrived we discovered that the birthday cake had been stolen! We set off on "The Case of the Missing Birthday Cake" and found clues all over the house that led them to the cake!

Then we decoded secret messages, wrote in invisible ink, and dusted for fingerprints.

We finished the party with a screening of the Nancy Drew movie with popcorn and candy and dancing to Frozen songs in dress up dresses. It was quite the party!

Happy Birthday to my 7 year old darling girl! I love you so much!

Love,

Mom

How can Audrey be 7 already?! And next will be her baptism-year birthday. What a darling party...does she know what a clever and talented mother she has? Con amor, Uncle Walt & Aunt Eileen
