since the rug was jerked out from under us in May, here's how the pieces of our life have landed:
-Justin lost his job at the Idaho Statesman
-sent out at least 40 resumes, went on almost as many interviews
-some jobs offered, some didn't
-Arrowhead Media hired Justin to market the website boise.biz
-the job was 100% commission which wasn't what we were hoping for but the pickings were slim
-a few weeks later the Weiser Signal American offered Justin an advertising sales director position
-we accepted, and Justin began commuting to Weiser while we hesitantly began looking for homes there
-something didn't feel right the entire time and we discovered some things we didn't like about the situation in Weiser
-one night while looking for other options on craigslist, Justin sees that boise.biz will have a competitor coming in October
-Justin calls his old boss with Arrowhead Media, Chad, to let him know
-Chad offers Justin a salary + commission job with the possibility of management to come back
-we fast and pray and decide that this feels right, that this is where we should be for now
-excited that we can stay in Boise, but we'd already given our 30 days notice to our landlord- thinking that we'd have to move to Weiser by the end of the month.
-our house has already been rented to someone else.
-so we start house hunting here in Boise. Found a nice, smaller, cheaper house and we move in on Saturday.
It's been a whirlwind. We've made more 'pros vs. cons' lists for job offers and moving and housing options than I can count. We've been on our knees praying for guidance. So many decisions have had to be made in the past few months and now, finally I feel like we've made the right ones. Finally the constant knot that has been in the pit of my stomach for 3 1/2 months seems to be relaxing and there's an end to all this uncertainty in sight. I was sad to leave the Idaho Statesman and I'm sad to leave this house but we're hoping this new job and new home will be good for us. We're hoping we've picked the right path.

Good luck with all the new changes! Keep us posted on how things go with the new job and the new house. And I would really like to see some pictures of this new place!

Wow, a lot of changes!! But changes are always good, and they will make your family so much stronger!! Good luck with the new job, and new house! I think it's all so exciting!!
Wow, it sounds like your life has been a bit of a roller coaster lately! But it sounds like things are what they should be. Good luck on moving to a new place!
