Because David’s birthday is right in the middle of the Christmas season he struggles getting kids to come to his party every year and his Mom and Dad struggle with having to buy birthday AND Christmas presents. One of our friends gave us the idea of having a 1/2 birthday party for him, that way he could celebrate in the summer and then have just a small family gathering in December with no presents. We decided to give it a try this year.
First David’s Dad and Uncle Luke put together a treasure for him and hid it faraway for him to find. He had to follow clues and this map and was basically in little boy heaven.
Then, we took David to Wahooz in Boise. Audrey has gotten to go there twice through the school and David was dying to go.
