Fall is here! And with it came Miss Audrey's first day of second grade:
Davy graduated to a big boy bed:
We went to see "The Swifts" with some
friends from church, a natural phenomenon here where migratory birds roost in a chimney in Chapman Elementary every night on their way south. They swirl around the chimney for awhile and then when the sun sets they swoosh in like a bird tornado! It was amazing!
Porter and David are becoming fast friends:
Portland had it's annual food festival "Feast" and we saw some celebrities around town and saw (but didn't attend of course) some pretty amazing parties.
But we did buy some Salt and Straw ice cream and Blue Star Donuts for my Mom when she came to visit so we had our own little feast at our house.
Also with fall came the last batch of blackberries and I tried (successfully!) to can my first batch of jam.
