The temperatures here in Idaho have mellowed, but the sun has been hiding recently. Clouds, wind, rain and even snow (!) have visited us this past week. So, while we're longing to hunt Easter eggs in the yard and color on the sidewalk with pastel colored chalk, we are stuck inside.
However, there was one perfect day at the beginning of last week
and Audrey and I made the most of it.

This grown-up girl who just the other day started calling herself
"Audrey" instead of my beloved "Au-gee"?

She said her name slowly, and was so careful to get the "drey" part just right.
And it made me so proud of her and broke my heart at the same time.

Audrey is getting so big. This post is kind of sad because she is growing up.
