We planted pumpkin seeds for activity days last week. After all my little 8 year olds went home I sat my cup full of dirt on top of the refrigerator and promtly forgot about it. Despite my neglect, it decided to sprout yesterday and I was surprised to come downstairs and see little patches of green poking out of the soil. Now I'm all excited to start our garden.
Nature is amazing.

I love it when the little bulbs and plants start to come up. I love the little pansys (violas) and bought a flat this week along with some herbs to plant in my planters by my back door. I too am excited to get a garden going this year. Millie
