Holiday

Favorite Moments

-waking up in a warm bed with my husband's arm draped over me, hearing my baby talking from the next room ("da da da rah!" must mean, "Mom, I'm awake!")

-planning to have a big 'Justin doesn't have to go to work' breakfast of waffles and fruit but instead being lazy and eating cereal on the couch in our pajamas, feeding Audrey bites of Rasin Bran Crunch

-wearing a sweater and getting Audrey dressed in pants and a long sleeved shirt because it's a little chilly and windy outside which gets me excited for fall

-doing some shopping and picking up supplies for a small project, planning with Justin how we'll decorate the house for Halloween while looking at all the decorations in the stores

-coming home and working on re-covering our kitchen chairs with football on tv and Audrey upstairs taking a nap. Watching my hot, manly husband working a staple gun and a screwdriver

-laughing at Audrey as she fills up an empty paper pottery barn bag with blocks and carries it around on her arm like a purse

-visiting with my Aunt Bev, catching up on family news

-hamburgers for dinner at a small restaurant in Kuna, watching Audrey munch on her corn dog between making faces at us

-snuggling on the couch with Audrey before she goes to bed

-watching tv late at night while having a great discussion with Justin about our plans for the future

Now that's what I call a Holiday.
